Hello. One of my guinea pigs, I’m still unsure which (i’ve heald them individually on white towels and still nothing), may be peeing blood. His urine is a murky brown color. They are already on an SMZ suspension for a URI, which would kill any UTI, so what could be the case? I don’t really want to take my guinea pigs to the vets for extreamly costly x-rays (yes, my vet is quite expensive) that could end up showing negative for bladder/kidney stones.

the urine doesn’t seem to be brown all of the time, but it still concerns me.
really? i don’t care about them now? who are you to think of accusing me of this? they’ve been to the vet 3 times this past month with $100 per visit for the both of them. yes, i do care, but my wallet is screaming at me.
and the urine is slowly fading to orange, hinting that it is oxidation.
